Committees

What an amazing year 2011 has been.  I would like to go over some of the accomplishments the Technology Team has accomplished.

  1. What started out as just a Chairperson, has grown into a great team of 4 local technology geeks.
  2. The team created a virtual cloud to communicate in where we have many tools including tasks, projects, and discussions virtually allowing us to collaborate on the fly.
  3. Worked with multiple groups associated and affiliated with the Chamber including TDC, Historical Trust etc...
  4. Updates to the website were approved and implementation has begun including the Board of Directors page, which now has more information about each board member.
  5. The Chipola Historical Trust agreed to house their plethora of historical data including images and documentation on the website.  This area is in progress now and can be seen here, http://www.jacksoncounty.com/Chipola-Historical-Trust/  Coming soon will be video walk throughs of various historical landmarks in this great county.
  6. An upgrade plan is in place to freshen the Chamber site

I look forward to 2012 and what is in store for the Technology of not only the Chamber and the Chamber website, but also in our county.
