Haute Seats is a benefit based event showcasing repurposed chairs as four legged pieces of art, created by local and regional artists. The designs can range from a beautifully painted chair to an object that started life as a chair and evolved into a work of art. All chairs will be available for silent auction the night of the event. At the conclusion of the event, chairs not purchased will be auctioned at Sunland’s Art in the Park show, which will be held on Saturday, May 6, at Sunland’s Environmental Park, beginning at 10:00 A.M. All proceeds from the silent auction will be used to facilitate the growth of the arts and culture in the Sunland community.
The “Haute Seats” event takes place Thursday evening, May 4, 2017 in downtown Marianna’s Historical Bank Building, beginning at 5:00 P.M., lasting until 8:00 P.M. This elegant night of cocktails, appetizers, music and a silent auction of beautiful art contains all the elements to make this premier event a huge success!
