    Event Description:
    The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is once again partnering with First Federal Bank to host an event geared towards uplifting local women in leadership. “Ladies First: A Focus on Putting Yourself First in Mind, Body and Spirit” brings together local women in leadership for professional and personal development, as well as an opportunity for focused networking. From young entrepreneurs to seasoned community leaders, this event is sure to enlighten every woman who serves in a leadership capacity. The event will be held on Friday, April 28th at Eastside Baptist Church in Marianna. The event begins at 10am and will continue through lunch. The event is expected to conclude around 1pm.

    The mind panel will be moderated by Sandy Spear, Senior Vice President and Regional Sales Manager of First Federal Bank. This panel will focus on the importance of continuing education, lifelong learning, and professional development.

    The body panel will be moderated by Brooke Donaldson, DEO of Jackson Hospital. This panel will focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle while balancing the challenges of a busy career and family life.

    The spirit panel will be moderated by Dr. Kris Ford, Ph.D., LMHC-S, NCC, Director of Hope Springs Counseling Group. This panel will focus on mental health and spiritual wellness.

    In between panels, there will be interactive activities and networking opportunities.

    The day will end with Marianna native Heather Stephenson Howell. Heather is a certified Enneagram Coach. The Enneagram is a tool that helps you understand how you interpret the world and how that viewpoint is affected by your core motivations which is helpful in navigating personal and professional relationships.

    Tickets for the event are $50 and includes access to the event, refreshments, plated lunch, and an opportunity to create your own mini bouquet courtesy of KB Farms Cut Flowers.
