    Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Presents 2024 Economic Forum
    The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host the highly anticipated 2024 Economic Forum during its January Power Lunch. Scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the event promises to be an insightful exploration into the economic landscape, locally and beyond.
    The keynote speaker for this year's forum will be Sheridan Meek, Senior Research Economist from the Florida Chamber Foundation. Sheridan will provide an overview of the trends in Florida’s economy, focusing on the Florida’s national and global presence through a deep dive of the state’s demographics, labor market, and business climate. Florida’s economy will be discussed through the lens of 2030 with an update on the latest metrics related to the Florida Chamber Foundation’s Florida 2030 Blueprint, which outlines 6 pillars and 39 goals to help Florida become the 10th largest global economy by 2030.
    Continuing their commitment to advancing economic dialogue, Florida Public Utilities has graciously stepped in as the event's sponsor, reinforcing their dedication to fostering progress within the community.
