89th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet set for Feb. 2
The 89th Annual Chamber Banquet will be held on Thursday evening, Feb. 2 at Rivertown Community Church in Marianna.
The evening opens with a social from 5:30 to 6 p.m. with networking and hors d'oeuvres. For the program, guests will move into the auditorium at 6 p.m. with dinner being served shortly after a welcome and introductions. The Chipola Show Choir will provide entertainment during the dinner service.
Our featured speaker for the evening is one of Northwest Florida’s most influential leaders in Economic Development, founder of the Studer Group and co-owner of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Quint Studer. Quint Studer is a businessman, a visionary, an entrepreneur, a mentor to many, and extremely dedicated to his community. He has given his life to designing the building blocks for people and organizations that guide them to achieving and sustaining high performance.

Quint retired from Studer Group in March 2016 to become a full-time community volunteer to undertake the development, training and education of the Pensacola Metro Community.
Following our featured speaker, will be the presentation of our three major annual awards: the Citizen of the Year Award, the Arthur L. Kimbrough Board Member of the Year Award, and the Leadership Jackson County “Excellence in Leadership” Award.
After the awards presentations, outgoing 2016 Chairman Shareta Wright, CEO, The Wright Foundation, will ceremonially hand over the gavel to incoming 2017 Chairman, Darwin Gilmore, Dean of Workforce and Economic Development, Chipola College.
Tickets for the Chamber’s Annual Banquet are available on the Chamber website at www.jacksoncounty.com for $45 each. Payment can be made with a credit card or an invoice can be requested.
